We plan regular events including Friday Fieldtrips, Full Moon Paddles, and Camp and Paddles.  These group outings are open to paddlers with their own kayaks and gear and to those who need to rent from us!  Stay tuned for new event postings for Summer 2024!

Sunday, October 27th, 1 PM Halloween Paddle to the Island

Join us for the last trip of the year... a short paddle (about 3 miles) on the Mississippi from Brooklyn Park to Fridley. We will stop at the Islands of Peace along the way so bring a snack and a beverage if you’ll want one. Come in costume or dress up your kayak if you'd like. Or just come as you are! We will launch at 1 PM and plan to be out for a couple of hours. Shuttling will also add time on each end.

Be sure to contact us in advance to RSVP and for shuttle arrangements. We will meet by 12:30 at the END point to arrange cooperative shuttling. If you get a ride one way you will need to give others a ride the other way until everyone is back to their vehicle with their kayak. 

Or you can arrange shuttling on your own if you come with a friend. Just drop a car at Riverfront Park Boat launch and carpool up to the start at River Park by 1.

Limited rentals may be available with advance reservations.

Trip will be weather permitting. If it's too cold, windy, or rainy we may cancel.
