Rice Creek
Upper Rice Creek offers a wildlife-filled kayaking adventure that any skill level can navigate.
We deliver kayaks to Rice Creek every Sunday for our Sunday Family Special! This is a self-guided trip on the upper section, starting in Circle Pines and ending in Shoreview. This trip is a relaxing 2.5 - 3 hours and is good for beginners. The cost is $59 per person*.
We deliver and pick up the kayaks for you. You only need to manage your personal transportation to the launch point and back. It is recommended that you arrange to have a car at each end, use a ride share option like Uber, or park your bike at the end and drive to the launching point. Just a 20-30 minute bike ride on the Rice Creek Regional Trail.
Groups of 4 or more can book Rice Creek trips 7 days a week, as our schedule allows. We sometimes book guided trips on lower Rice Creek for advanced kayakers only, as conditions allow. * Discounted price is for cleaning your own kayak at the end. Towels and spray provided. Have it cleaned for you, add $15.
